Persuasive writing might be used when you want to convince someone to believe what you believe. It may also be used to convince someone to take action. Persuasive writing can be done in the form of a letter, an advertisement, a speech, or an article. 

Persuasive writing must have: 

> An introduction to your topic 

> Reasons for your point of view 

> A conclusion that summaries your thoughts
